Calcium - Day 1 - Throne of Aries

We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from the whole. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible blade, the Philosopher’s Stone is formed as the conscious ordering of contemplated matter. For thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it according to its function, and offers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Thoth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.

During this cycle, its form is expressed as Calcium: an element with the symbol Ca and atomic number 20. Its ground-state electron configuration ends in 4s², completing the pair of electrons that began to form with Potassium. This is the substance we are ordering. Today, particle number 20 of the Philosopher’s Stone enters the Round Table to be observed from the throne of Aries.

Calcium: Throne of Aries

Today we share the perspective of Aries. From this throne, we observe what Calcium does when it enters into a new relationship. Aries directs its gaze toward its outer electrons and toward the transformation through which the atom leaves its neutral state to become one of the most important forms of Calcium in nature: Ca²⁺.

How does Calcium express itself?

The Calcium atom possesses two electrons in the 4s orbital. Its first ionization energy is approximately 6.11 electronvolts. In much of its chemistry, the atom loses its two outer electrons and forms the Ca²⁺ ion, thereby attaining an electron configuration equivalent to that of Argon. This tendency explains the presence of Calcium as a divalent cation in minerals, biological fluids, and numerous compounds.

The beginning of Calcium therefore involves a double release. Its most common chemical state does not retain the two outer electrons, but rather releases them in order to enter structures where its positive charge can establish new relationships with other ions.

What does it reveal to us?

When observed from the throne of Aries, Calcium reveals that beginning may require letting go of what occupies the outermost layer. The new structure appears after the release.

Excalibur calibrates particle number 20 to distinguish conscious release from loss without direction. Calcium teaches that a force can transform its state without losing its fundamental identity. What it releases does not destroy it: it allows it to enter into a new architecture.

How do we integrate it?

At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Calcium or the throne that observes it: it keeps visible the still point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize within it that which can be released from one form in order to begin building another.

Thus, today we carry out this task:

Mind — Focus

Hold a single affirmation within yourself: «I release what is external in order to begin a new relationship».

Emotion — Cleansing with the Candle

Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release the fear of letting go of a familiar form, the resistance to beginning, and the impulse to preserve that which has already fulfilled its function.

Emotion is brought into order through courage. 

Action — Integration into the Body

Pour yourself a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I release what is necessary and enter a new structure». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.
