Potassium - Day 8 - Throne of Scorpio

We remember at the Round Table.

The circle activates, and consciousness takes shared form. Twelve positions surround the center and sustain a living geometry. Here, a natural order is established: an alliance of perception that opens a new state of consciousness. The archetypes of being arrange themselves to recalibrate the origin of the Philosopher’s Stone, the one that aligns mind, heart, and action to manifest heaven on Earth.

At the center of the circle, Excalibur defines the axis and marks the North. During this cycle, its form is expressed as Potassium: element with the symbol K, atomic number 19, and belonging to the alkali metals. Its ground-state electron configuration ends in 4s¹, with a single electron in its outer shell. This is the substance we are bringing into order. The nineteenth particle of the Philosopher’s Stone presents itself as a force of exchange and regulation, ready to be observed and adjusted from the different points of view offered by the wheel of the twelve.

Today we share the point of view of Scorpio. From this throne, we observe what happens when the force of Potassium moves beyond the range that allows a system to maintain its balance. Scorpio directs its gaze toward the intensity of a substance capable of reacting violently in its metallic form and toward the precision required to keep K⁺ within narrow limits in living organisms.

Metallic Potassium reacts extremely vigorously with water. The reaction produces Potassium hydroxide and Hydrogen and releases a considerable amount of heat, which can ignite the Hydrogen produced. For this reason, metallic Potassium requires special storage and handling conditions and must be kept away from water and other sources of moisture.

In the organism, the danger appears in a different form. The concentration of K⁺ in the blood must remain within a narrow range. An excessively high concentration, known as hyperkalemia, can alter the electrical activity of cells and cause muscle weakness and potentially serious disturbances of the heart rhythm. A concentration that is too low, known as hypokalemia, can also alter excitability and cardiac repolarization and promote the development of arrhythmias. The same ion that is essential for electrical function can become a threat when its concentration moves too far outside the physiological limits.

When observed from the throne of Scorpio, Potassium reveals that power has no value independent of its measure. A force that sustains rhythm can disrupt that same rhythm when it moves beyond the range that allows the system to function.

Excalibur calibrates particle number 19 to recognize the boundary between intensity and destruction. Potassium teaches that transformation does not mean taking a force to its maximum, but recognizing the point at which it must be regulated so that it does not damage what it sustains. True intensity includes the ability to stop before becoming excess.

A candle is lit before you as a reflection of the center. Its flame reveals the state of your inner intensity and accompanies the fine adjustment of the particle. As you hold your gaze, boundary finds its order and the eighth face of the Philosopher’s Stone is polished. Potassium becomes regulated. The wheel continues its conscious rotation.

Thus, today we carry out this practice:

Mind — Focus

Hold a single affirmation internally:

“I recognize the depth of my strength and the limit that transforms it.”

Allow the mind to remain serene, aware, and fully present with the force you are holding.

Emotion — Cleansing with the candle

Place a lit candle before you.

Observe it in silence for at least three complete breaths.

Allow the flame to dissolve the emotions associated with excess: accumulated intensity, the impulse to take every situation to the extreme, and the fear of reducing a force when it has already fulfilled its purpose.

The emotion is brought into order through regulation.

Action — Integration into the body

Pour yourself a glass of water.

Hold the glass between your hands and say:

“I am Potassium that contains its intensity and preserves the balance that sustains life.”

Repeat it three times, consciously.

Drink the water slowly, integrating into your body the ability to recognize when a force needs to continue and when it needs to be regulated.

Alchemical Seal

I am the new state of consciousness.

Avra Kehdabra — I create as I speak.
