Vanadium - Day 1 - Throne of Aries

We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from a state of wholeness. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible edge the Philosopher’s Stone takes form as the conscious ordering of the matter being contemplated. During thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it through its function, and delivers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Toth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.

During this cycle, its form is expressed as Vanadium: an element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. Its ground-state electron configuration is [Ar]3d³4s². After Scandium opened the 3d region and Titanium continued to occupy it, Vanadium introduces a third electron into it and expands the possibilities for electronic transformation within matter. This is the substance we bring into order. Particle number 23 of the Philosopher’s Stone enters the Round Table today to be observed from the throne of Aries.

Vanadium: Throne of Aries

Today we share the point of view of Aries. From this throne, we observe what Vanadium does when it begins to interact with other forms of matter. Aries contemplates an electronic structure that is not limited to a single way of giving up electrons, but instead opens several possibilities for transformation.

How does Vanadium express itself?

The neutral atom of Vanadium has a first ionization energy of approximately 6.746 electronvolts. It can form compounds in different oxidation states, among which +2, +3, +4, and +5 are especially important. Each corresponds to a different electronic distribution and may exhibit different chemical properties. The transition between these states allows Vanadium to participate readily in oxidation-reduction processes, accepting or donating electrons according to the chemical environment.

The beginning of Vanadium is therefore not defined by a single irreversible act of giving. Particle number 23 introduces the possibility of moving through several states. Transformation ceases to be merely the passage from a before to an after: it begins to become a sequence.

What does it reveal to us?

When observed from the throne of Aries, Vanadium reveals that beginning a transformation does not mean knowing from the outset what the final state will be. The same matter may pass through several configurations before finding the one that corresponds to the new environment.

Excalibur calibrates particle number 23 in order to distinguish conscious change from instability. Vanadium teaches that transforming does not mean abandoning an identity every time conditions change. It means having different states from which to respond.

How do we integrate it?

At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Vanadium or the throne observing it: it keeps visible the unmoving point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize in it the same matter moving through different intensities without losing its center.

And so, today we carry out this practice:

Mind — Focus Hold a single affirmation inwardly: «I open myself to allowing my state to change without losing my essence».

Emotion — Cleansing with the candle Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release the fear of changing state, the need to define the final outcome from the beginning, and the confusion that makes you believe that transforming means ceasing to be yourself. The emotion is brought into order through acceptance.

Action — Integration into the body Pour a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I change and continue, preserving my center». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.
