Vanadium - Day 5 - Throne of Leo

We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from a state of wholeness. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible edge the Philosopher’s Stone takes form as the conscious ordering of the matter being contemplated. During thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it through its function, and delivers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Toth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.

During this cycle, its form is expressed as Vanadium: an element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. This is the substance we bring into order. Particle number 23 of the Philosopher’s Stone enters the Round Table today to be observed from the throne of Leo.

Vanadium: Throne of Leo

Today we share the point of view of Leo. From this throne, we observe how the different states of Vanadium become visible. Leo contemplates an electronic transformation that does not remain hidden, but changes the color of matter.

How does Vanadium express itself?

In aqueous solution and under appropriate conditions, different oxidation states of Vanadium display clearly different colors. V(V) species may appear yellow; V(IV) species, usually as vanadyl, are blue; V(III) produces green solutions; and V(II) may display a violet or mauve hue. Oxidation and reduction reactions allow Vanadium to move successively through these states and reveal the change in color as the electronic structure of the element changes.

Color is not a decorative property added from outside. It arises from the interaction between the electronic structure of each species and light. Changing the number of electrons modifies the available energy transitions and, with them, the wavelengths that are absorbed and transmitted.

What does it reveal to us?

When observed from the throne of Leo, Vanadium reveals that each state has its own manifestation. An internal transformation inevitably changes the way matter presents itself to light.

Excalibur calibrates particle number 23 to understand that changing one’s expression does not mean pretending to have another identity. The same essence can manifest different colors as it passes through different states.

How do we integrate it?

At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Vanadium or the throne observing it: it keeps visible the unmoving point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize in it the same matter capable of manifesting different colors according to the state it passes through.

And so, today we carry out this practice:

Mind — Focus Hold a single affirmation inwardly: «I recognize that my expression manifests the state I am passing through».

Emotion — Cleansing with the candle Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release the need to always maintain the same image, the fear that others may not recognize a new expression, and the guilt of showing a state different from the one you showed before. The emotion is brought into order through self-confidence.

Action — Integration into the body Pour a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I allow my expression to accompany the state I inhabit today». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.

I am the new state of consciousness. Avra Kehdabra — I create as I speak.
