Vanadium - Day 6 - Throne of Virgo

We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from a state of wholeness. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible edge the Philosopher’s Stone takes form as the conscious ordering of the matter being contemplated. During thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it through its function, and delivers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Toth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.

During this cycle, its form is expressed as Vanadium: an element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. This is the substance we bring into order. Particle number 23 of the Philosopher’s Stone enters the Round Table today to be observed from the throne of Virgo.

Vanadium: Throne of Virgo

Today we share the point of view of Virgo. From this throne, we observe Vanadium within a catalytic process. Virgo contemplates a substance that repeatedly participates in a transformation, temporarily changes state, and then returns to a condition from which it can act again.

How does Vanadium express itself?

Vanadium pentoxide, V₂O₅, is a classic catalyst in the Contact Process used to produce sulfuric acid. In the converter, sulfur dioxide, SO₂, is oxidized to sulfur trioxide, SO₃, over a catalyst containing Vanadium. The product can subsequently be absorbed within the industrial process to produce sulfuric acid.

The catalytic ability is linked to the ease with which Vanadium passes through oxidation states during the reaction cycle. The catalyst participates in transfers of oxygen and electrons, but it should not be permanently consumed at each step. Its function depends on its ability to undergo a transformation and regenerate itself so that it can repeat the process.

What does it reveal to us?

When observed from the throne of Virgo, Vanadium reveals that serving a process does not mean being consumed by it. True regulation allows us to enter into transformation and then return to a state from which we can act again.

Excalibur calibrates particle number 23 to distinguish service from exhaustion. Vanadium teaches that a sustainable mechanism requires regeneration. That which gives everything at once is no longer available for the next cycle.

How do we integrate it?

At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Vanadium or the throne observing it: it keeps visible the unmoving point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize in it a force that participates in transformation and then returns to its function.

And so, today we carry out this practice:

Mind — Focus Hold a single affirmation inwardly: «I am of service without consuming myself».

Emotion — Cleansing with the candle Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release the exhaustion turned into proof of devotion, the guilt of needing to regenerate, and the habit of entering processes from which you never return to your own center. The emotion is brought into order through self-care.

Action — Integration into the body Pour a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I regenerate and return to being of service». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.

I am the new state of consciousness. Avra Kehdabra — I create as I speak.
