Vanadium - Day 7 - Throne of Libra

We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from a state of wholeness. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible edge the Philosopher’s Stone takes form as the conscious ordering of the matter being contemplated. During thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it through its function, and delivers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Toth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.

During this cycle, its form is expressed as Vanadium: an element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. This is the substance we bring into order. Particle number 23 of the Philosopher’s Stone enters the Round Table today to be observed from the Throne of Libra.

Vanadium: Throne of Libra

Today we share the point of view of Libra. From this throne, we observe matter capable of sustaining two profoundly different structures and moving from one to the other when an external condition changes. Libra contemplates the point at which a variation in temperature modifies the equilibrium of the entire system.

How does Vanadium express itself?

Vanadium dioxide, VO₂, undergoes a phase transition near 68 °C. As it passes through this temperature, it can change from a phase with lower electrical conductivity to another that is much more conductive, accompanied by changes in its crystal structure and optical properties. This thermochromic behavior has been investigated for possible applications in coatings and windows capable of modifying their interaction with radiation according to temperature.

The transition temperature is also not completely fixed when the material is modified. NIST has studied how incorporating other elements, including Tungsten, Niobium, or Tantalum, can shift the temperature at which the change occurs. The equilibrium between states therefore depends on the structure and on the relationships established within it.

What does it reveal to us?

When observed from the Throne of Libra, Vanadium reveals that equilibrium does not require remaining eternally in a single state. There is a point at which conditions change sufficiently for another organization to become more suitable.

Excalibur calibrates particle number 23 to distinguish equilibrium from immobility. Vanadium teaches that preserving a form after crossing its threshold can be more imbalanced than allowing transformation.

How do we integrate it?

At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Vanadium or the throne that observes it: it keeps visible the still point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize in it the threshold where one condition ceases to sustain one form and begins to sustain another.

And so, today we carry out this practice:

Mind — Focus Hold a single affirmation internally: «I recognize the threshold where equilibrium needs to change form».

Emotion — Cleansing with the candle Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release the fear of the point of transition, the need to preserve agreements that have already lost their balance, and the resistance to reorganizing yourself when actual conditions have changed. The emotion is brought into order through adaptation.

Action — Integration into the body Pour a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I cross the threshold and adopt the form that restores balance to the present». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.

I am the new state of consciousness. Avra Kehdabra — I create as I speak.
