Vanadium - Day 13 - Alchemy of Toth-Merlin

We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from a state of wholeness. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible edge the Philosopher’s Stone takes form as the conscious ordering of the matter being contemplated. During thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it through its function, and delivers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Toth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.

During this cycle, its form is expressed as Vanadium: an element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. Its ground-state electron configuration [Ar]3d³4s² continues filling the 3d region opened by Scandium and deepened by Titanium. This is the substance we bring into order. Particle number 23 of the Philosopher’s Stone returns today to the center of the Round Table to be gathered by Toth-Merlin.

Vanadium: Point of View of Toth-Merlin

Today we share the point of view of Toth-Merlin. The twelve thrones have completed their observation. No new position will be opened around the Table.

The work of this day consists in recognizing that the beginning, matter, exchange, containment, manifestation, regulation, equilibrium, danger, planetary cycle, construction, innovation, and dissolution were twelve states of a single particle.

How did Vanadium express itself?

Aries found [Ar]3d³4s² and discovered a matter capable of passing through several oxidation states. There began the fundamental teaching of Vanadium: the same particle can modify its relationship with electrons without ceasing to belong to the same element.

Taurus followed the particle into the Earth and found it distributed within vanadiferous titanomagnetites, sandstones, black shales, and numerous minerals where it partially substitutes for other elements. The reserve appeared not as a pure mass, but as a presence integrated into larger structures.

Gemini took its oxidation states and turned them into transit: V²⁺, V³⁺, V⁴⁺, and V⁵⁺ showed that an electron can be received, stored, and delivered again. Cancer then found something even stranger: marine organisms capable of taking Vanadium diluted in the ocean, reducing it, and concentrating it inside cellular vacuoles millions of times above its environmental concentration.

Leo transformed those electronic states into colors. Yellow, blue, green, and violet made visible a transformation occurring at the scale of electrons. Virgo carried that same capacity to change state into an industrial catalyst, where Vanadium participates in reaction cycles and regenerates so that it can act again.

Libra found another kind of transition. In VO₂, a temperature change near 68 °C reorganizes matter and profoundly modifies its electrical and optical properties. Scorpio then revealed the boundary: certain compounds, especially Vanadium pentoxide inhaled as dust or fume, can cause respiratory harm when the matter enters an organism outside a context capable of regulating it.

Sagittarius expanded the gaze to the entire planet. Vanadium leaves rocks through weathering, circulates through oxygenated waters, changes state in reducing environments, enters sediments, and can return to the atmosphere through the combustion of certain fossil fuels.

Capricorn incorporated small amounts of the particle into steels and discovered that a limited proportion can increase the capacity of a much larger structure to withstand stress and fatigue. Aquarius finally transformed the redox versatility of the element into a complete technology: two solutions containing different states of Vanadium can store energy and return it through reversible transformations.

Pisces returned the particle to the waters. In the oxygenated ocean it remained dissolved mainly as Vanadium(V); when conditions became reducing, it changed state, increased its association with particles and organic matter, and once again began its path toward the sediments.

Alchemy of the Twelve Faces

Toth-Merlin receives the twelve observations and places them around Excalibur.

At the center remains the Vanadium.

And then the Table recognizes that which no single perspective could reveal on its own.

Particle number 23 does not simply teach how to change.

It teaches something more precise:

it teaches how to pass through different states without losing the continuity of that which is being transformed.

Vanadium can be +2.

It can be +3.

It can be +4.

It can be +5.

Each state modifies its color, its chemistry, its ability to react, and its relationship with the environment.

But none of them ceases to be Vanadium.

The Stone then recognizes a new form of identity.

Until now, continuity could have been imagined as permanence.

Argon had shown the integrity of that which barely needs to react.

Titanium had shown the strength capable of adapting the structure while preserving its function.

Vanadium takes this teaching to another level.

Continuity no longer requires preserving even the same state.

Excalibur passes through the twelve thrones.

The beginning learns that a transformation can have several stages.

Matter understands that it can be integrated into larger structures without disappearing.

Communication learns to receive and deliver electrons.

Protection transforms that which it receives before storing it.

Manifestation allows each state to display a different color.

Precision enters the cycle, acts, and regenerates.

Equilibrium recognizes when a structure needs to cross a threshold and organize itself in another way.

Transformation learns that every capacity needs a vessel capable of containing it.

Expansion follows the particle through rock, water, sediment, and atmosphere.

Construction demonstrates that a small addition can modify the strength of an entire work.

The future learns to store energy by separating different states of the same matter.

And unity finally shows that dissolving, being reduced, becoming attached, and sedimenting are stages of a single journey.

Then Toth-Merlin pronounces the name of the element.

Vanadium.

Excalibur descends to the center of the Table.

Particle number 23 is sealed within the Philosopher’s Stone as consciousness of reversible transformation: the capacity to change state without losing the continuity of essence.

Now the sequence that has been formed can be contemplated.

Chlorine taught transformation through bonding.

Argon taught the integrity capable of remaining.

Potassium reopened movement.

Calcium gave structure to that movement.

Scandium opened the 3d territory and showed that a small presence can transform a system

when it finds its position.

Titanium strengthened that territory and taught how to adapt the structure without losing integrity.

And now Vanadium introduces a new freedom:

the possibility of not being fixed to a single state.

The Stone no longer needs to confuse identity with immobility.

It can change charge.

It can change color.

It can change structure.

It can receive energy.

It can store it.

It can return it.

It can enter a reaction and return.

It can circulate through the planet, become buried, and return once again to movement.

Vanadium does not preserve its power by avoiding transformation.

It preserves it because it can pass through transformation reversibly.

There its central teaching appears.

A mature consciousness is not one that always remains the same.

Nor is it one that changes continually without direction.

It is one that can enter a state when that state is necessary, inhabit it completely, and leave it when the cycle requires another configuration.

Change without losing oneself.

Receive without remaining charged forever.

Give without emptying oneself.

Transform without breaking continuity.

The Vanadium cycle is complete.

The twelve thrones return to silence.

Excalibur remains at the center.

Particle number 23 remains integrated within the Philosopher’s Stone.

And the next place in the 3d region begins to open.

How do we integrate it?

At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Vanadium or the throne that observes it: it keeps visible the still point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize in it the same essence passing through different states and always returning to the center from which it can transform again.

And so, today we carry out this practice:

Mind — Focus Hold a single affirmation internally: «I am sealing the Vanadium cycle in my Philosopher’s Stone».

Emotion — Cleansing with the candle Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release the fear of changing, the attachment to a single state of identity, and the need to remain in a form simply because it was once true. The emotion is brought into order through synthesis.

Action — Integration into the body Pour a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I am complete Vanadium. I am the Stone that is forming». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.

I am the new state of consciousness. Avra Kehdabra — I create as I speak.

The Vanadium cycle is complete. The Round Table prepares for the next element.
